The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Monday, September 2 reveals Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will be furious with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan).
Also coming up, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will make a major decision about her relationship status. Plus, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will grill Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). And Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will issue a warning to Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).
Y&R spoilers tease Sally will come down the stairs at the GCAC and see Billy. He’ll ask if she stayed there last night. “I did,” she’ll reply. Billy will ask if she left Adam and Sally will say she doesn’t want to have that discussion right now. He’ll ask to buy her a coffee and she’ll say sure.
“Last night was decidedly hellish,” Sally will say as they sit down. And he’ll apologize for storming in like he did. But Sally will tell him at least it led to the truth. Billy will say she deserves better and Adam needs a reminder that she deserves better.

But Sally will remind him Chelsea lied too. “I hope you’re not letting her off the hook.” Billy will say he knows Chelsea’s not blameless, so they’re both on the same page. Sally will ask him where his head’s at. “Let me put it this way, do you think you can stay with Chelsea now that you know what she’s done?”
Billy will tell her it’s happened before. Chelsea cheated on him with Adam in the past. However, he doesn’t think there are any romantic feelings between them this time. Even so, he’ll say he still needs time to think this through. Then he’ll tell Sally she’s better off without Adam.
Meanwhile, Victor will spot Nate at Society and ask him to join him. Then he’ll grill Nate about his request to recommend Lily leave Chancellor. Nate will say he doesn’t follow Victor’s commands and Lily has her own mind and goals. “Have you forgotten I know who you are?” Victor will reply. “You were the one who tried to put me in hospital and take over my company.”
So, he’ll tell Nate he’s a scheming opportunist. “Remember one thing Nate, I was very close friends with Neil Winters, Lily’s father,” he’ll add. “And I want to make damn sure that Lily’s safe.” But Nate will tell him to leave Lily out of whatever he’s planning. “She doesn’t need you adding to her stress.”
At Crimson Lights, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will show Lily a card that Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper) had given her. “It’s so good to see her handwriting again,” Lily will say. Then Nikki will hand her a letter and Lily will be teary-eyed after she reads it.
Nikki will ask if things have already eroded between her and Billy and she’ll make a face. “Don’t let him bully you,” she’ll add. As Nikki continues to badmouth him, Billy will walk in and approach them. Nikki will leave and Lily will tell Billy he’s going to regret double crossing her. So, she’ll storm off, call Victor, and ask him to meet.
Young And The Restless Scoop – There’s No Coming Back From This
At Chancellor Park, Adam and Chelsea will hang out with Connor Newman (Judah Mackey). He’ll suggest Adam and Chelsea do a muscle exercise together. But they’ll look wary and Connor will ask what’s going on. “Are you guys okay?” But Adam will tell his son Chelsea will just win again.
They’ll send Connor off to get some ice cream and Adam will turn to Chelsea. “Sally left me because of you,” he’ll tell her. “How dare you blame me for your relationship blowing up,” she’ll reply. However, Adam will say he had Sally convinced nothing happened in Baltimore, until Billy showed up and ruined everything. They’ll continue arguing but will plant smiles on their faces when Connor returns with ice cream.
Then Connor will spot Sally standing there and call her over. She’ll approach and Connor will suggest he, Adam and Sally should have a movie night sometime. “My dad says you’ve been really awesome since I’ve been away,” he’ll add. Sally will smile and say she should get going.
But then Chelsea will ask Adam and Connor if they can go get her a coffee and they’ll leave. “Chelsea whatever you’re going to say, you can save it,” Sally will tell her. Chelsea will say she doesn’t blame her. Nevertheless, she’s sorry. She wishes she could go back in time and make a different choice.
Finally, Sally will tell Chelsea it would be easy to hate her, but that would excuse Adam. She’ll say at least she had the guts to confess to Billy. “I wish that you guys could feel what we feel, which is nothing,” Chelsea will say. But Sally will say there’s nothing she can tell her that will change her mind about Adam. “I don’t think there’s any coming back from this.”
